    In 1999, long time Fatal Fury fans were shocked when the then latest entry of the franchise, Garou: Mark of the Wolves moved two of the original games’ protagonists into the background leaving Terry Bogard the only one playable in game. Yes, Andy Bogard and Joe Hisashi have made appearances in games since then with the spin-off The King of Fighters, but it always felt weird that the two got sidelined.

    Despite several tempests in teapots, it seems the general public was ready and willing to shell out their hard earned cash for Nintendo’s latest piece of hardware, the Nintendo Switch 2. From the hardware’s official launch date on June 5th, 2025 Nintendo has reported that they have sold over 3.5 million units of their latest console in just four days.

    I never thought I could do good by buying a crop top (Those people who know me, do not put that image in your mind…even though I kinda just did that), but the fine folks of Devolver Digital is making that happen with their newest merchandise line where 100% of the proceeds will go to charity. The “Y’all Means All” merch collection which debuted today on the publisher’s online merchandise shop is looking to add more color to a gamer’s wardrobe.

    This past Saturday diligent commanders woke up at 3am PST/6am EST to tune into the special livestream in which the popular mobile game Goddess of Victory: NIKKE detailed their collaboration with Stellar Blade, another title developed by Shift Up.Anis and Elegg were our hosts where the duo found a strange encampment (Not that strange if you’ve Stellar Blade) and investigated the contents.

    If you’re a fan of ninjas, 2025 is going to be the year for you. SEGA’s master ninja Joe Musashi has put the cowl back on (Don’t worry this is the first and last reference to other franchises!) and the Hayabusa Ninja Clan of Ninja Gaiden fame will feature in not one, but two titles. The first being the heavily Microsoft marketed Ninja Gaiden 4 and the second a  Dotemu published 2D side scrolling title featuring dual protagonists developed by The Game Kitchen, the team behind the Blasphemous games.
