The center, called "Apon Griha" (Own House), is now bustling with the noise of children from morning to afternoon, growing up with care and love under the watchful eyes of the sisters. Nusrat Jahan Sadia, 17, was diagnosed with pneumonia five days after birth.

Sr. Lorenza Raffaella Radini of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate works with Bangladeshi Indigenous youth, and even set up a computer lab for the girls. Radini studied and completed her higher education in economics and management at Bocconi University, Milan. She graduated in 2008 and joined the congregation in 2010. She received her first vow in 2014 and final vow in 2022.
