It’s been a banner year for climate policy in Minnesota: In the 2023 session, the state legislature passed a 100 percent clean electricity standard and established a work group to tackle design elements for a possible clean transportation standard to be developed next year. Following on the climate momentum, the GreaterMSP Partnership announced in August the creation of the first U.S. sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) hub at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul airport.

Beaverbrook Art Gallery hosted a morning of mindfulness where participants could get exercise through a yoga class surrounded by art pieces. On Sunday, Oct. 1, yoga instructor Tammy Ward led her class at the biggest art gallery in Fredericton. The event, named Morning of Mindfulness, was the first yoga event at the gallery. “Art and yoga are connected,” said Ward. The gallery’s event coordinators like to incorporate fundraising activities throughout the year.
