Farm-to-table dining was once the biggest trend in dining. And while eateries emphasizing fresh and local ingredients is no longer novel in New Jersey, one Garden State restaurant takes farm-to-table quite literally. I had long heard tales of a restaurant just outside Princeton that sourced its meats from the very farm it sits on (as well as another nearby) and uses local producers for the majority of their other provisions.

We love that time of year when restaurants start preparing their patios and al fresco seating for outdoor dining. Kicking it up a notch, adding a waterside element to the equation makes for elite seasonal dining. Let’s be honest. Dining indoors can be cozy, but when compared to the epic views and gentle breeze off the water that outdoor dining offers during the warmer months, it’s a no brainer.
