    — LAST EVENING the City Commissioners were asked to authorize the opening of the east half of Boardman Avenue from east Eighth Street to the lake in order that people may get down to the water’s edge without traversing private property. It has been found that the city owns a strip to the waters’ edge at this point half the width of the street and the commission decided to have it opened and placed in condition for traffic.

We can expect the biggest gathering ever, as well as golden ornamentation, too many flags, some American, and a bullhorn of victimhood. President Trump will point out our country's failings, misdirection and how only he can correct it.

    Stop the spendingThis is about government over-spending and the ripple effect it has on mainstream Americans, not about people going on strike. I've never seen government fix a problem. It always gets worse over time. Government spending is the main cause of mainstream American's problems. Too much money causes inflation. Inflation leads to higher prices on many goods, including housing. This leads to the cost of living rising. Many Americans go into debt using high-interest credit cards.
