Here's a wrap-up of the 42nd annual WIAA girls soccer state tournament kicked off this weekend at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee. The dynasty continues for top-seeded Muskego, who beat Madison West in the Division One state championship in a shoot-out 1-1 (3-0). The Warriors become just the third program to win four straight titles in a row. Brookfield Central defeated Pewaukee in the D2 Title Game 2-1. It is the seventh state championship for Lancers and its first since 2018.

At 14-15, The Prairie School owns a losing record. It's not how many games you win, though. It's when you win that counts. Before the WIAA State Playoffs, the Hawks were 9-15 but have since rattled off five straight victories. "Start of the season, we had a bit of a rough patch, " said senior guard Jonathan Orth.
