    A US consortium including the investment arm of the San Francisco 49ers has taken a majority (51%) stake in Rangers FC.     BBC Sounds has become the official fringe festival partner for Crossed Wires 2025. Described as the country’s biggest celebration of podcasting, it will take place in Sheffield at the start of July. BBC Sounds will take over the old Cole Brothers Department Store in Barkers Pool to put on live recordings and special sessions.
