X: @IlliniMGolf So far, so good as Illinois looks to advance to the men’s golf national championships once again. Illinois, hosting a NCAA Regional for the first time, had a historic day in Monday’s opening round. Senior Jackson Buchanan recorded a course-record round of 63 (-8) as Illinois posted the best team score on day one (-7). Only three other teams finished under-par of the 13 teams competing. The top five will advance to the NCAA Championship later this month.
