    ESB and Red Rock Power have signed a PPA to supply SSE Energy Markets with electricity from the 1080MW Inch Cape wind farm off east Scotland. The latter will take 50% of the wind farm’s electricity output for a period of at least 15 years, the developers said. This agreement provides Inch Cape with a “reliable route to market for its clean electricity from early generation”, said the partners. Full commercial operation is expected in 2027.
