More than five billion people globally have now been vaccinated against COVID-19. Of course, many of the three billion or so who haven't may not yet have been able to access a COVID vaccine, particularly in low-income countries. But a portion of those who are unvaccinated have chosen not to get a shot. Since COVID vaccines became available two years ago, we've seen increasingly wide and often bitter divergence between those who are vaccinated and those who have chosen not to be.
