    Turgis & Gaillard on 17 June 2025 debuted the Foudre, new truck mounter multiple rocket launcher system at the Paris Air Show. The system is integrated on to the Renault Kerax 6×6 tactical truck chassis equipped with an armoured cab. The launcher accepts a modular rocket pod carrying one to six rockets. The system is compatible with a range of existing munitions.

    Lockheed Martin confirmed in a June 4th, 2025, announcement it had secured its third country customer for its TYP-4 ground based air surveillance radar with the systems selection by Sweden’s Defence Material Administration. The Swedish decision joining the US Air Force and Norway in fielding the TYP-4. The TYP-4 is a Gallium Nitride – GaN technology transmitter-based 3D digital AESA system that is transportable by C-130 and C17 aircraft, as well as by truck, rial or externally by helicopters.

    Saab Canada announced it had received an award of a $5.6 million contract from the Canadian Armed Forces for its Carl Gustav M4 shoulder-fired recoilless weapon. The order includes the Carl-Gustaf M4 weapon and Fire Control Device (FCD) 558. The number of systems in the order has not yet been identified. Delivery of the systems is to occur through March 2027.

    General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) displayed its latest update of the LAV 6.0 at the Canadian Security (CANSEC) exposition held in Ottawa over 29-30 May 2025. The Mk 2 8×8 vehicle represented the company’s presentation of its innovation and enhanced capabilities for the LAV 6.0 platform. The LAV showcased at CANSEC featured a new turret with significantly enhanced tactical capabilities and lethality.

    The US Army announced the conclusion of its Precision Grenadier System (PGS) initiative with its selection of a system proposed by a team consisting of Barrett Firearms and MARS Inc. The PGS presented is a soldier-portable, shoulder-fired, semi-automatic, magazine-fed, integrated armament system capable of rapidly engaging and destroying personnel targets in defilade as well as unmanned drones at close range.
