U.S. VeteranJohn Claiborne Peacock Sr., 79, of Hooks, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 22, 2025. He was born on November 25, 1945, in Texarkana, AR, at the old St. Michael’s hospital, to Dr. Norman Whaley Peacock and Alfie “T” Taliaferro Peacock. Mr. Peacock was raised in Ashdown, AR. He dedicated his career to U.S. Civil Service Logistics Management and honorably served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
