I become uneasy whenever tablets attempt to move beyond the realm of entertainment and light gaming. I never get adequate value for the premium I pay, and the extra horsepower on flagship tablets is wasted on me. I don’t believe it’s all my fault. The uses aren’t there for tablets that are heavily focused on productivity. I don't edit 4K video on the go with my tablet. If I needed that, I’d bring along my more capable laptop. Still, I like to keep an open mind, and the OnePlus Pad 3 seemed promising.

Motorola nailed the Razr 2025. It’s a worthy upgrade from last year’s model, and it’s the sweet spot of the company’s folding phone lineup. For $700, it's the most fun you can have with a smartphone, boasting a stylish design and decent performance. Although it may have midrange specs, folding phones demand a premium, and the Razr 2025 is worth it. It’s a device I wouldn’t mind carrying around in my pocket, and it always starts a conversation when I pull it out.

I enjoy comparing midrange smartphones. Flagships tend to offer all the same specs for roughly the same prices, but with midrange devices, there’s some variety. You must identify what’s important to you in a smartphone, because not every phone for around $500 has everything. Google and Motorola made compromises to get to an affordable price point, and it’s fun to highlight which corners were cut.

It was difficult to hide my displeasure with the Google Pixel Fold on launch. The phone felt half-baked, precisely what you don’t want in a device that costs $1,800. However, Google kept at it. Despite a complete reboot with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the company made significant software improvements to the original Pixel Fold. Android 15 turned the tide, and I’ve found myself using it more than any other book-style folding phone.

I wanted to have some fun with this last #NCAATournament bracket I had to fill out, so I decided to let ChatGPT make the picks. I asked it to fill out a bracket using historical trends, betting odds, and other metrics. It confidently spit out a Final Four of Florida, Auburn, St.
