I’m proud to be a tree hugger, a lover of nature, an environmentalist. We need to take care of this place we live in. Pretty basic. That’s not say we can’t use the resources; we have to. I have felled my share of trees for firewood. I try to take care with what I cut, where I cut, when I cut and how I cut, both for my personal safety and to minimize harm I might inadvertently do in the firewood collection process.
