The 6-foot-8 junior scored 36 points on 13 for 24 shooting to give the Jaguars (23-10) their first state tournament win in the school's history.

On Wednesday, South Oldham needed the 3-pointer to take down Danville Christian 67-44 in the first round of the UK HealthCare Boys Basketball Sweet 16. Jake Fithian scored 17 points to lead the Dragons (30-5), who will return Friday to face Jeffersontown in the quarterfinals.
