Arkansas ranked 45th in child well-being in the latest KIDS COUNT Data Book released Monday by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. The foundation annually ranks states based on four “domains.” Arkansas was 47th in health, 45th in economic well-being, 45th in family and community, and 36th in education. Each domain is composed of four “indicators” largely measuring the types of realities where Arkansas typically does not do well. Arkansas was also 45th last year.
