Modern vehicles are smarter than ever. With lane assist, adaptive cruise control, and even hands-free steering becoming more common, it’s tempting to believe the myth: that road travel—especially in Europe—is now an “autopilot” experience. Tipping in the US is always a complicated subject. In the state of Florida, if an employee does not make at least $10.98/hour (starts in October now $9.98) in tips the employer pays the difference. So do we have to tip if the employers are obligated to pay the wait staff?

Is this guy overspending? Or is food in the US this expensive? My wife would kill me for spending $250 on dinner. We find excellent restaurants for half that price.
