With the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes ongoing, there's still no resolution in sight. Both unions want fairer, re-negotiated contracts regarding residual payments for streaming content provided by services like Netflix. The antiquated business model designed for residual payments, and used by linear broadcast networks, wasn't designed for the age of streaming, and they've had enough. A major concern for both parties is the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence and the threat it poses.

They're also no strangers to competition, having won season two of HGTV’s Rock the Block. On last night’s episode of Barbie Dream House Challenge, they added another win with their incredible Barbie inspired backyard, beating fellow designers Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas (of Bargain Block/Rock the Block).

Legions of #Hearties rejoiced back in June of 2022 when Hallmark Channel announced their beloved series When Calls the Heart had been renewed for a 10th season. It's usually a nail-biting time for fans when a season of the show concludes, as they eagerly await a renewal announcement, but the season 10 announcement came with a bonus -- an eleventh season was simultaneously given the go-ahead.
