PHILADELPHIA — The kid from Whitehall high-school in Allentown is now heading to his 1st Super Bowl appearance. Saquon Barkley put the Eagles team on his back early in Sunday's 55-23 decisive win over the Commanders with his 60 yard TD run around the left side of that line and made a few twists and turns and turned a terrific run into the Eagles 1st TD of the game and a 7-0 lead. Washington was turnover prone all day with 4 in the game to the Eagles none.

MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — Tommy Reisinger's path to pro baseball began at Mount Carmel with a mix of sports between basketball, baseball and being the quarterback on the football team. It was a ton of fun for Tommy and kept him busy playing multiple sports. Once he settled on playing baseball, the college experience began at East Stroudsburg. He had a 4-year career there and, most recently, was the Oakland A's 10th-round draft pick last June in the Major League Baseball draft.

The Lady Comets will play Moon on Saturday at 4pm at Eagle View Middle School in Mechanicsburg for the "3A" state final. Her 64 goals this year have been highlight moments for Abington Heights and it didn't change on Tuesday night at Harman-Geist Stadium in Hazleton.

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. — It was Bloomsburg University as the host site for the District IV Cross Country Championships and just a beautiful day to go out for a run. The Girl's "A" race was Gracelyn Laudermilch from Northeast Bradford defeating Kate Moncavage from Southern Columbia. It was the Panthers with the District "A" champion in 18:58 and they also brought home the team title. “Kate is an absolutely amazing runner.

MESHOPPEN, Pa. — The 2A Boy's up first and Riverside's Daniel Danilovitz attacking the 3.1-mile course at the Wyoming County Fairgrounds and the Viking coming in first in 16:14. “This win really does mean a lot to me. Ever since I won it since 2021 I really wanted to go for itagain. I came really close last year and my freshman year,” said Daniel. ORWIGSBURG, Pa. — Noah Powers is the gold standard at Blue Mountain High-School in boy's swimming. The 16-year-old junior is already a PIAA state champion in the 50 free collecting that medal in 2022 as a freshman. And just this October invited along with 52 other boy's swimmers to the USA Swimming National Select Camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado. “We had 5 practices in total each 2 hours long. It was a very unique experience. The meetings they we're able to help me out a lot.
