For the first time in 25 years the Denver metro is getting a new Cracker Barrel restaurant. Known for their comfort food, Cracker Barrel is opening a new location on Monday in the Central Park area of Denver, just off East 40th Ave. Weary travelers on I-70 can stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner and then do a little shopping in the store. Cracker Barrel already has locations in Loveland, Northglenn, Pueblo and the Springs, and now the north Denver area has one.

A study in the journal “Circulation” found doing random tasks and chores FASTER might do wonders for your health. Researchers tracked the movements of 24,000 adults for about a week. None of them were people who got regular exercise. The ones who did minor tasks “briskly” saw major health benefits years later.

For the past few months we’ve heard about the upcoming trip to space for Katy Perry and the all female crew of the Blue Origin rocket, a company owned by Jeff Bezos. The all female crew was led by Aisha Bowe, a former NASA rocket scientist; Amanda Nguyen, a bioastronautics research scientist; TV personality Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, a former journalist who is Jeff Bezos’ fiancée, and of course pop star Katy Perry.
