The Bulldogs knocked off Samford by the score of 6-1 on Tuesday. The Tigers mercy ruled Louisiana the same evening the tune of 17-4. Coach Jay Johnson is in his fourth season at the helm of the LSU program.

The jockeying for position continues as college programs welcome more unofficial visitors to spring practice sessions. Saturdays are expected to be bring a lot of prospects to town and that stands to reason as school is in session.
