    The World Series of Poker released its 30-event online bracelet schedule for the 2025 festival yesterday, bringing the total number of bracelets up for grabs this summer to 130. In February, the WSOP released its 100-event live schedule. Once again, the Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas convention center will host the series scheduled for May 27-July 16. The series is guaranteed to have an online event on every Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday during that time frame.

    Just days after tying World Series of Poker Circuit history, Maurice Hawkins’ character is under the scrutiny of the poker world. On Wednesday evening, the Florida native won the $400 no-limit hold’em monster stack at the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica stop. He bested a 571-entry field to earn $34,711 and his 19th Circuit ring. The victory tied him atop the all-time ring leaderboard with Ari Engel, who also has four WSOP bracelets. But the buzz on social media isn’t about his success.

Poker hall of famer and 17-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth was the centerpiece of the latest BetRivers commercial. The company released the ad yesterday from its BetRivers sportsbook X/Twitter account, and presumably aired in television markets where the BetRivers online casino is available.

    Barstool Sports founder and CEO Dave Portnoy took aim at a poker player and crypto trader during a recent livestream. As the stock market opens, Portnoy runs a livestream dubbed “Davey Day Trader Global.” During his stream last week, he made fun of recent Wynn Millions champ Jeremy Dan. Portnoy called him a “piece of shit” and ripped on Dan’s appearance. Earlier this month, Dan had an amazing run at the Wynn Millions tournament series in Las Vegas.
