On Thursday, the Brad Schimel for Justice campaign announced that it has raised over $2.2 million since entering the race for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. In the past six months, the Schimel campaign raised $1.5 million – more than double any candidate in Wisconsin Supreme Court history has raised during this period, according to the campaign. The fundraising haul is five times greater than what conservatives raised in the same period just two years ago.

Former Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel received 12,000 nominating petition signatures in support of his campaign for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, which is six times the amount required, according to Jacob Fischer, a campaign spokesman. In a written campaign statement issued Monday, Schimel remained critical of Wisconsin’s liberal leaning Supreme Court. “The people of Wisconsin are deprived of justice when their highest court is run by political activists.

Milwaukee Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection to an attempted armed robbery/shooting that occurred on Friday Dec. 20, 2024, at or around 9:10 p.m., on the 7600 block of W. Good Hope Rd.According to police, the suspect is described as an African American male who is in his 50’s. He was last seen wearing a black Carhartt brand hat, a gray skull style mask, a yellow and green checkered jacket, blue pants, and chestnut colored shoes.

State Rep. Ryan Clancy on Dec. 6 said he was ejected on the final day of the American Legislative Council (ALEC) State and Nation policy summit. While Clancy said, “he was attending to better understand the agenda of the conservative group in order to counter those activities,” representatives for ALEC tell a different story. ALEC officials tell the Wisconsin Law Journal that they received multiple complaints about Clancy.
