Developer ArtPlay and publisher 505 Games have announced Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, a follow-up to Ritual of the Night. The new game will act as a prequel to the original Bloodstained, which was itself a spiritual sequel to the Castlevania series. The Scarlet Engagement features different main characters, since Miriam was less involved in the story at this point in the lore.

In early 2023, developer Inti Creates, known for their retro-styled games like the Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon series, decided to adapt their cheeky and cutesy Gal*Gun rail shooter series into a new spinoff called Gal Guardians. Forever Entertainment has finally revealed more details and a trailer for the upcoming House of the Dead 2 remake, after being announced in 2019, sharing that we won’t have to wait very long to get the game in our hands. The new teaser trailer shows a lot of footage from the game, clearly showing it’s using the same engine and visual style as the first House of the Dead remake, with a more realistic and dark tone compared to the original Dreamcast version.

Back in 2015, indie studio Psychose Interactive released their first game, which was exclusive to mobile platforms at the time, titled Forgotten Memories. The game is a third-person survival horror title that’s a love letter to the Silent Hill series, and even features the Remothered series’ Chris Darril doing the art design and Silent Hill 2‘s voice actors for James and Eddie voicing some of the characters.
