    HAGERSTOWN, Md. (DC News Now) — Washington County Delegate Brooke Grossman (D – 2B), whose district comprises Hagerstown, is behind a bill in the Maryland state legislature that will change the names of highways referencing soldiers of the Confederacy during the Civil War. Grossman says the federal government has renamed military bases to honor prominent African Americans in U.S. history. She would like to see, for instance, renaming streets like Robert E. Lee Drive in Sharpsburg.
