And that’s what the host school Brookfield Central boys and girls track teams happily celebrated on a cool and windy Tuesday night in a WIAA regional event. And though it was not a perfect meet for his squad, Lancer boys coach Dan D’Amico could not help but smile as both Central teams joyously bounced around on the infield celebrating with their championship plaques.
