Naked photos of wife on internet A 31-year-old Port Orchard man was in Kitsap County Superior Court April 21 facing four charges involving nude photos of his wife. He faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine for dealing depictions of a minor; the same penalty for possessing depictions of another minor; five years in prison and a $10,000 fine for voyeurism; and a year in jail and a $5,000 fine for tampering with evidence.

Bail was set at $580,000 for a 22-year-old Bremerton man charged with five crimes in Kitsap County Superior Court Jan. 24. He’s charged with second-degree assault strangulation, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm (each 10 years in prison, $20,000 in fines maximum); and harassment threat to kill (5 years, $10,000 fine). Court documents show that Kitsap deputies responded Jan. 23 at 10:31 p.m. to the 2800 block of Fircrest Drive SE.

A 25-year-old Bremerton man faces life in prison and a $50,000 fine after being arrested for a stabbing at a local restaurant. He was in Kitsap County Superior Court Dec. 19 arrested on a warrant from Nov. 15 for first-degree assault. Bail was $100,000. Court documents show Kitsap deputies responded Sept. 8 at 3:36 a.m. as there was a stabbing victim in the emergency room at St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale.

Olympic and Bainbridge each won four matches in their wrestling match Dec. 18. Unfortunately for the Spartans they couldn’t field wrestlers in six weight classes so those forfeits gave the Trojans 36 points on the way to a 60-19 victory. If both teams fielded full squads Olympic would have won by five. For Bainbridge, Garrett Goade won with a technical fall after 5 minutes and 2 seconds while leading 25-8 at 190 pounds. River Gandee pinned Tyree Juneau in 3:24 at 120 pounds.
BISD sued over alleged teachers’ abuse 40 years ago

An unnamed Seattle woman has filed a lawsuit in Kitsap County Superior Court against the Bainbridge Island School District over alleged sexual abuse by two teachers almost 40 years ago. The suit was filed Dec. 12 by the Seattle-based law firm Pfau Cochran Vertetis Amala. The woman, listed as A.L. in the suit, wants to keep her name private due to mental anguish and severe emotional distress that she suffered, the lawsuit says.

Kitsap County Superior Court cases A 36-year-old Seabeck man who had $3,500 in funny money was in Superior Court June 25 charged with vehicle theft. Bail was $76,000. He faces 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine. Court papers show the State Patrol responded to Highway 3 at the Rodeo Drive-In Theater June 23 at 11:50 p.m. The stolen truck was being driven erratically, but the chase ended as the vehicle drove through downtown Port Orchard.
