One of York County’s busiest exits is getting a revamp. Breaking ground Monday was the South Carolina Department of Transportation on th enew Highway 160 at I-77 interchange. It will be an offset interchange which is the first of its kind. It will be used to limit left turn issues and space out the intersection while also reducing backups in traffic. The construction and work on the road is expected to take 3 to 4 years.
