Nvidia succeeded in delaying reviews of their 8GB RTX 5060 Ti, but they couldn't hide them forever. After about a week's delay, we can show you just how underwhelming this product really is. In case you missed it, Nvidia launched the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti last week, available in both 8GB and 16GB configurations. Leading up to this release, we learned that Nvidia was actively holding back the 8GB model from reviews.

We would argue that one of the most disappointing GPU releases of the last few generations was Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4060 series, which includes the RTX 4060, 4060 Ti 8GB, and 4060 Ti 16GB. All of them were underwhelming, and the 8GB models were particularly atrocious for a mid-2023 release – especially considering the asking price and resulting performance. But, of course, these are GeForce GPUs, so they sold quite well.

If you're thinking of upgrading to AMD's current AM5 platform, you're probably researching not just which CPU to buy, along with the supporting motherboard, but also which DDR5 memory kit you'll need. To date, we've reviewed and tested almost all AM5 processors, along with countless 600 and 800-series motherboards. However, it's been some time since we looked at memory performance, so today we've got a quick update for you, focusing on G.Skill's new CL26 memory and DDR5-8000 performance.

It's only been two weeks since AMD launched the Radeon RX 9070 XT and to say it's been a popular release would be an understatement. Reports indicate that AMD has already shipped 200,000 RX 9070 series GPUs, and just days ago, AMD Japan claimed to have reached 45% market share. It's unclear how accurate either of these claims are, but we know through our own sources that AMD has already sold more 9070 series GPUs than Nvidia has sold of their entire GeForce 50 series, which is quite astonishing.

Four months have passed since the release of AMD's impressive Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, and it seems the market still can't get enough of it. Supply has been reasonable, but demand has been overwhelming. And because this is yet another in-demand product built using TSMC's N4 process, the 9800X3D is fighting for supply with countless other sought-after chips. As a result, even today, the 9800X3D is often out of stock and difficult to purchase at MSRP.

Just to be clear, it's normal for cards to sell out fast at launch, especially when reviews are positive. There's a few unusual things here though so we're going to stay on top of it and keep AMD/Nvidia/Intel accountable - Huge price gulf between MSRP and non-MSRP cards is
