BALTIMORE - Happy Wednesday! Hot and humid today, with high temperatures climbing back into the low-90s. It will feel more like the mid to upper-90s thanks to the humidity. Some sunny breaks are expected, which could help ignite some isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon hours. A cold front moves through Thursday, bringing rain and potentially strong to severe storms! The risk of hail, damaging winds, and even an isolated tornado or two are all fair game.

We will feel the hottest air of the year thus far today in the Baltimore area! High temperatures could near record levels, with in the low-90s. The old record of 96° was set back in 1986. It will certainly FEEL like the mid-90s though, so the A/C will be your best friend today! The hottest part of the day will be between 12 - 7 PM.

BALTIMORE - Happy Thursday! Temperatures have a good chance of rising into the 90s this afternoon, which will likely make it the hottest day of the year in the Baltimore area thus far! The record high temperature is 96° set back in 1986. Temperatures will rise into the upper-80s on Friday with the humidity in full swing. Make sure you stay hydrated and find ways to stay cool. The combination of the heat and regional smoke will lead to poor air quality today.

I’ve officially earned my master’s degree in Meteorology from @msstate! This degree is a testament to every time I was told I wasn’t enough, that I didn’t belong, or questioned if I could really do it. But, God carried me through every storm & His light always shines through☀️ https://t.co/aNlEl0TFN7
