BALTIMORE - Happy Tuesday! Patchy fog develops once again this morning with temperatures starting off in the 60s. High temperatures will climb into the mid-70s for most under broken clouds. Spotty showers and storms are expected once again this afternoon and evening, with a low chance for severe weather. Some showers linger overnight before conditions dry out heading into Wednesday morning. Scattered showers return Thursday afternoon and linger into Friday, with a slight cool down in sight.

BALTIMORE - Happy Monday! Patchy fog develops this morning, possibly leading to low visibility in some areas. High temperatures rise into the mid-70s, under partly sunny skies. The 70s stick around through the majority of the work week. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening. Some of those isolated storms could be strong to even severe again, with damaging winds and hail being the main concerns. Spotty showers and storms are possible on Tuesday.

BALTIMORE - Happy Friday! Very warm today with high temperatures in the mid to upper-80s this afternoon. This could be the warmest day of the year thus far! A few isolated pop up showers/storms are possible this evening as a front approaches. Some of these storms could produce some gusty winds at times. A more organized batch of storms develops Saturday afternoon and evening. A Marginal risk for severe weather (level 1 out of 5) is in place for Saturday.

BALTIMORE - The month of April has come to an end, and I know many of us are wondering what happened to the April showers! The total amount of rain that fell throughout the month at BWI was 2.34". This is about 1" below the normal monthly value of 3.39". Since the start of Meteorological spring, 5.47" of rain was measured at the airport. Typically, the Baltimore area should have seen at least 7.40" of rain by now.

BALTIMORE - Happy Thursday! More clouds today with high temperatures in the upper-70s and low-80s. A warm front lifts north, sparking spotty showers and possible isolated storms this evening. A southerly breeze will bring temperatures back up into the mid-80s on Friday with spotty showers and storms later in the day. The weekend offers a renewed rain chance with storms and showers possible Saturday afternoon and evening. Another scattered rain chance is back Sunday along with a big cool down.

Isolated showers are possible Thursday afternoon and evening. Another round of storms will slide into the region Friday evening. Scattered storms and showers look possible early Saturday, but there is hope it will all clear out by the afternoon. Temperatures cool for the weekend.

BALTIMORE - Are you looking forward to summer? I definitely am! Starting today, many areas in central Maryland will get a taste of early summertime as temperatures will warm up into the 80s throughout the work week! Normally, the Baltimore area should see high temperatures in the low-70s in late-April/early-May. Today is expected to be the warmest out of the next several days, with highs in the mid-80s. This is about 15° above normal for this time of year.

BALTIMORE - Happy Tuesday! Today will give off mid-June vibes with highs in the mid-80s this afternoon! It will be paired with plenty of sunshine and a noticeable southerly breeze. A cold front will slide across the region overnight into early Wednesday, possibly sparking a few spotty showers. Most of Wednesday will be dry with an isolated shower/storm chance on Thursday. Another disturbance will move through on Friday into Saturday, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms.

BALTIMORE - Happy Friday! Clouds increase throughout the day with high temperatures in the mid to upper-70s. Spotty showers and even a storm or two is possible late-afternoon, but more so in the evening. Scattered storms and showers work back in Saturday morning and into the afternoon. Some of these could be on the strong side with gusty winds. After the cold front move in Sunday, we clear back out and temperatures drop into the 60s.
