Former TCU center Sedona Prince was not selected in the three-round WNBA draft on Monday night. Prince spent two seasons with the Horned Frogs, helping turn TCU from the worst team in the Big 12 to an Elite Eight team in just two seasons. This past season Prince averaged 17.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.0 blocks while being selected first team All-Big 12 and to the All-Defensive team. However, despite that production, her off-the-court issues likely played a major role in Prince going undrafted.

Former TCU guard Madison Conner was selected by the Seattle Storm with pick No. 29 in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Conner was the second Horned Frog to be selected in the draft following Hailey Van Lith, who was picked No. 11 by the Chicago Sky. Conner was one of the most prolific 3-point shooters in college basketball the last two seasons after transferring to TCU.

TCU standout Hailey Van Lith was selected with No. 11 pick in the first round of the WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky on Monday night in New York City. It was the perfect conclusion for what was a storybook season for Van Lith in Fort Worth. Van Lith transferred to TCU almost a year ago from LSU after just one season. The Tigers reached the Elite Eight and Van Lith averaged 11.6 points per game, but it clearly wasn’t a fit and her draft stock took a hit.

Kendal Briles says TCU has scaled down on the different type of run plays they'll utilize. Said the focus has been mastering the concepts they do run. Translate: Basically instead of running 12 different run concepts, let's perfect the 6 or 7 we did well last year.
