SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - It’s been a weekend of mostly sunny skies with a few clouds in and out throughout the day and winds on the calmer side. These conditions have allowed many to get outside but if you have been outside you probably have noticed the haze that’s been wreaking many of our afternoons for the last week or so with more wildfire smoke. While this smoke has continued to lighten up over the day, it’s still enough to notice and impact our air qualities.

SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - We continued what has been a pleasant weekend this Sunday, with plenty of sunshine, a bit of a breeze, and temperatures in the 60s and 70s. There has been a hint of wildfire smoke aloft, so while skies were clear, they weren’t exactly blue. Looking ahead, we expect nice conditions to continue into Monday and Tuesday, although more wildfire smoke could put a damper on those days. Sunday Night:Little change is expected Sunday night in terms of sky coverage.

SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - If you had the chance to step outside this Saturday, you experienced a delightful day! Temperatures were slightly below average, with many areas reaching the 60s. Winds were occasionally breezy, but the sun was out, and the smoke from Canadian wildfires cleared out for the day. If you missed it, don’t worry, more pleasant days are on the way for Sunday and beyond.

SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - Happy Friday!Conditions haven’t been ideal today, with a few spotty showers, increasing cloud cover across the state, and smoke moving in alongside a cold front. This smoke has caused air quality issues, prompting an Air Quality Advisory for all of Michigan, Wisconsin, and much of Minnesota, in effect until 6 AM Saturday. The good news? This pattern looks to break down as we head into the weekend, with a much nicer outlook shaping up across the region.

SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - We’ve continued to enjoy a very pleasant Memorial Day weekend across the region. While temperatures haven’t been the warmest with most areas sitting below average, many have stayed dry. Radar has shown a few small cells trying to develop just north and south of the Bay. More dry skies appear to be the trend as we head into the new week, but will that hold for long? Memorial Day:The only note for Sunday night is to expect lows in the 40s across much of the region.
