SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - The stronger winds arrived earlier today, but rain has held off for most of the region throughout the day. Rain chances are expected to continue moving north overnight, with showers lingering into midweek. Sunday Night:Currently, radar is showing rain in our southern counties, and those showers are expected to continue. The precipitation is moving more west than north, which means once it arrives in your area, it may stick around for a longer period during the night.

The pattern will shift on Sunday, however, as a low-pressure system stalls over Indiana and Ohio, introducing a new weather setup for the region. Saturday Night:We’ll carry over our calm Saturday into the night and Sunday morning. Skies will be mostly clear, though some areas may experience occasional cloud cover.

SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - While Sunday has been cloudier than Saturday, it turned out a bit drier than previously expected. Dry air limited some of the morning rain chances, but more showers look to develop overnight. As we head into the new week, the main story appears to be the potential for stronger winds across the state. Sunday Night:Rain chances began moving over Lake Michigan around 6–7 PM and are expected to continue eastward, reaching the Tri-Cities area around 9-10 PM.
