At any party, it’s all about showing up—and clearly you can’t wreck a party if they won’t let you in. For me, a jacket and tie works wonders for access. While chatting with fellow journalists inside the heavily fortified, over-policed DNC perimeter, we caught wind of a party, so I did an appropriate street change as Thomas dropped some logic on us about the four-in-hand knot!
