Puri: The second phase of log for Rath Yatra have been dispatched for the holy city of Puri of Odisha from Ganjam district said reliable reports on Tuesday. According  to reports in the second phase, wood for rath construction was sent from Ganjam district to Puri. 36 pieces of chariot wood were sent from the forest of Bhanjanagar to Puri. Dhaura wood was sent from the Baibali forest. The wood was sent after worship in the presence of forest officials, people’s representatives and people.

Banspal: In a tragic incident, a woman and her two-and-a-half year old son got electrocuted in Keonjhar district of Odisha and died, said reports on Tuesday.
