Clinical associations of cognitive dysfunctionOn univariate analysis, increased age, disease duration, SDI and substance use were all associated with reduced performance on cognitive testing; see table 2. Increased premorbid IQ, disease activity according to either time adjusted mean SLEDAI-2K or SLEDAI-2K at the date of assessment, azathioprine use and hypocomplementemia were associated with improved performance on cognitive testing.
