1. IntroductionBody image is defined by how people experience their own body. More broadly, body image can be related to functional physical competencies and/or biological integrity [1]. Therefore, there are various constructs and perspectives on body image; for example, the tridimensional model of body image, which comprises perception (how the body is seen), attitude (how the feelings about the body are), and behavior (what actions are taken in relation to the body) [1].
