Queensland Premier David Crisafulli has sent a firm warning to the local spectators ignoring orders not to enter danger zones while Tropical Cyclone Alfred unleashes on the coastline. The centre of Alfred is expected to cross the coast early Saturday morning, currently approaching the east coast at just 6km/h. Liberal candidate for Wentworth Ro Knox has hit back at the seat's incumbent MP Allegra Spender after she claimed the politician made a "disgraceful accusation" over her campaign materials. On Thursday, Ms Knox claimed Ms Spender’s campaign placed an election poster on top of the commemorative Bibas family poster. Legendary Hollywood filmmaker and writer David Lynch has died at the age of 78, his family confirmed. The revolutionary cultural figure was the mastermind behind cult series "Twin Peaks" and introduced neo-surrealism filmmaking to American cinema through dream-storytelling in films such as "Blue Velvet" and "Mulholland Drive" featuring Aussie star Naomi Watts . Although the cause of Lynch's death has not been revealed, his family confirmed the death in a Facebook post on Friday morning.
