This is the moment a suspected thief brazenly pockets hundreds of pounds worth of products in a garden centre. Shocking CCTV footage shows a man casually walking in through Mayberry Garden Centre in Portslade before eyeing up a selection of garden products and stuffing them into his coat. Another man on the lookout at the store can be seen watching the aisles as the thief manages to quickly pack around ten bottles of goods into his black coat.

Dozens of migrants have been brought ashore today at the Port of Dover - after battling thick fog to get across the Channel. The mainly-male group of around 50 asylum seekers arrived despite poor conditions including strong winds in the Dover Straits - and they were brought into the harbour in Dover by a Border Force catamaran around Midday. Upon arrival, the migrants were spotted at the former jetfoil terminal wearing bright orange life jackets as they went inside for processing.

Residents have been left fuming after trees intended to help hide an 'eyesore' new warehouse were torn down and burned, before being replaced by a few tiny saplings. Blundering developers mistakenly uprooted the 15-metre tall mature tree line to make way for the three towering buildings. Now, homeowners living nearby are faced with seeing the monstrous buildings from their windows, describing it as an 'environmental disaster'. The development has been built in Fulwood, near Preston, Lancashire.
