Although the detrimental effects of active smoking on bone health have been widely recognized, the impact of secondhand smoke exposure on fracture risk in non-smokers remains less understood. A total of 4843 non-smokers aged 40–69 years, who participated in the Korean Genome and Epidemiology Study from 2001 to 2018, were analyzed. The participants were categorized into two groups based on their exposure status to secondhand smoke: currently exposed and unexposed.

We float the helikite-mounted software-defined radio (SDR) and global positioning system (GPS) receivers around 90 minutes from noon during NC State's Packapalooza festival in August 2023. The helikite holds a low altitude of around 5 m for 45 minutes and then flies up to around 140 m.

The USRP B205mini continuously sweeps the spectrum up to 6 GHz while the helikite is at a fixed altitude, and power measurements at each frequency band are logged.
