SimplyFresh has revealed multiple new sites are set to open soon. Announcing the news on LinkedIn, the symbol wrote it would be “bringing fresh, local and convenience shopping to even more communities”. Committed to local produce and sustainability, the expansion aims to make “fresh, high quality food accessible” to shoppers, while empowering independent retailers, it wrote. BrewDog has launched a £10 meal and pint on-pack promotion to celebrate the 18th birthday of Punk IPA. A shop worker was threatened with an imitation gun, meat cleaver and hammer during an armed robbery in West Lothian. On Monday, around 7pm, three males entered Mid Calder Convenience Store and stole several items before fleeing down a nearby footpath, Scotland Police reported. Dolly Wines, a collab between superstar Dolly Parton and wine supplier Accolade Wines, has rolled out in convenience exclusively through Booker and Nisa. The range features a Dolly Rosé (RRP: £9.50/750ml) and Dolly Prosecco(RRP: £11/750ml) and was first launched into Asda last September. The prosecco is a “fresh and zingy sparkling wine” with “stone-fruit aromas” and flavours of apple and pears, said Accolade Wines.

Out-of-home delivery and parcel locker provider InPost reached a milestone of 9,300 lockers by the end of 2024. Its recently released annual report for 2024 revealed that parcel volumes doubled to 93.2 million, compared to the previous year - The company has establised itself as the largest locker network in the UK, according to the report. Revenue increased to £230.82m, marking a 164% YoY.
