Sussex-based retailer Kim Patel and his family were “over the moon” when they heard they had won the 2025 Community Award by Ardingly Parish Council. Since 2020, the Patel family has operated Ardingly News Shop in Ardingly, West Sussex. The award recognised their outstanding dedication to ensuring disabled villagers are supported, elderly residents are cared for and daily essentials are always available, said Ardingly Parish Council.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is giving c-store retailers a chance to win a customised Ford E-Transit electric van or one of ten £500 depot vouchers. Running until 14 August, CCEP’s biggest competition to date aims to “energise the wholesale channel” and reward retailers who buy into its alcohol RTD portfolio. To enter, retailers must purchase four or more cases of CCEP’s alcohol RTDs in a single transaction from their chosen wholesale depot.

Retailer Mohammed Tayab told Convenience Store that he has received “over 400 messages” from people requesting disposable vapes, days after the UK-wide ban came into force.

The campaign spotlights the connection between dance and cocktails and celebrates “how both creative forms can bring people together and spark meaningful social connections”, said the Pernod Ricard-owned brand. At the heart of the new campaign is a film crafted by a collective of global creatives including well-known choreographer Shay Latukolan.
