I’ve been sitting here frittering away my time on this day after Thanksgiving. It’s a day that people have divided feelings about, but if they celebrate it, it’s usually a gathering of family and friends and cheerfulness and, I hope, not dividing political discussion. I just read the Guest Column by David K. Johnson in the Pikes Peak Courier Gazette and I keep coming back to it in my mind. I’m not a Socialist or Marxist and I have studied these systems.
