Police have shared images of men they wish to speak to after reports of e-bikes being ridden in a dangerous manner. Colne and West Craven Police have received numerous complaints in Barnoldswick and across the Pendle area over the use of the vehicles. Reports are surrounding the use of e-bikes and other motorbikes which are being ridden in a dangerous manner on roads and pavements.

Concern is growing over a missing man from Blackpool who was last seen wearing all blue. Marcus Rogers was last seen at Central Drive in the seaside town at 9.05am today (Wednesday, May 14). The 47-year-old was wearing a sleeveless blue jumper over a light blue hoody. He was also wearing mid-blue jeans, white trainers with a yellow sole and a dark cap with a logo on the left front. Marcus is 5ft 10ins and clean-shaven. Although missing from Blackpool, Marcus is from Rotherham.

Eight fire engines are currently tackling a blaze in Longridge. Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) say eight fire engines are currently at the scene on Alston Lane. Eyewitnesses in the area say the fire looks to be coming from Alston Dairy in the town. LFRS have advised members of the public to avoid the area. Sir Keir Starmer was quizzed over plans for a wind farm in the Fylde during Prime Minister's Questions. The questioning took place in the House of Commons this afternoon (Wednesday, May 14). Fylde MP Andrew Snowdon asked the Prime Minister over the plans for a wind farm in the Fylde, dubbed the Morecambe and Morgan project. It will see two wind farms built in the Irish Sea and linked by a cable corridor, to an electricity substation in Penwortham.

Sir Keir Starmer was questioned today about the nuisance landfill site in Fleetwood, saying rogue operators must be tackled. During Prime Minister's Questions (PMQs) today (Wednesday, May 14), Sir Keir was asked about the Jameson Road landfill site, causing problems with residents for more than a year. Fleetwood locals have complained of a "sulphur-like" smell emitting from the site since December 2023, operated by landfill owners Transwaste.
