Peninsula Town Center’s food options continue to grow as The Meadows Original Frozen Custard and Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings work to set up shop there. The Meadows frozen custard is different from other frozen dairy treats because it contains eggs, which makes it rich and dense, franchise owner Dalton Brown said. Another important factor, he said, is it is made fresh throughout the day. Customers visiting the Hampton location will be able to watch custard-making through an 8-foot window.

Hampton’s golf game might be heading for a bogey as a recent report reveals both courses are in the rough financially — with only one having a shot at staying in play. An outside analysis of The Hamptons and The Woodlands public golf courses determined both courses are losing money and need more than $16 million collectively in repairs.
