Lead Image Saturday in Paris is ‘Comme day’. It opens (early) with Comme des Garçons acolytes Junya Watanabe and Noir Kei Ninomiya and crescendos to Comme des Garçons itself: this season quite literally, Rei Kawakubo’s powerfully moving collection was accompanied by Ludwig van Beethoven’s Sonata No 14 in C sharp minor (Moonlight) and Sonata No 32 in C minor. All three presentations were remarkable.
