Many years ago, it was typical for me to read 200+ books per year. These days, it's rare I read more than 35 books in a year because I've come to learn that slow and curated reading is a more meaningful way to read. Essentially, I think we should pick what we read carefully and fully engage with what we've chosen. This is, in my eyes anyway, a far better way to consume and ensures we appreciate and enjoy what we have chosen to read.
