En los últimos años, y especialmente tras covid-19 estamos asistiendo a un consolidado crecimiento del sector servicios. Su contribución al PIB ha ido aumentando de manera constante tanto en economías desarrolladas como emergentes. En Estados Unidos, los servicios contribuyeron aproximadamente con el 78% del PIB en 2023, un 64% en el caso de Europa y un 69% en España, con casos de zonas metropolitanas con estructuras de servicios muy destacadas como Madrid, Valencia o Málaga.

As agricultural protests grip countries across the European Union, farmers are set to be a force to contend with in this crucial election year. In France, tractors have paralysed the motorway system in recent weeks, with protesters also causing havoc in Paris by (among other things) depositing manure at the entrances of supermarkets to highlight the disparity between small farmers and big agribusiness.
