At over 2,800 words, Trump's speech immediately after his swearing-in was about the 16th longest speech of any previous president – perfectly bookending his first inaugural address, which was the 16th shortest. Trump spoke for about 30 minutes – promising that "the golden age of America begins right now" and critiquing his predecessor.
