Georgia is dotted with dozens of clean energy projects, often located in far-flung rural areas. Combined, they’re worth $28 billion, promising 42,000 well-paying manufacturing jobs. They are scattered across solar, hydrogen and grid transmission projects, but electric vehicles are at the center of it all, designed to provide greater independence from China’s supply chains. Under the Trump administration, much of that investment is in jeopardy.

Hyundai EVs can now charge as easily as Teslas with tighter app integration and plug-and-charge features. The update rolls out for the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 9 and all future electric models. It also covers some of the major charging stations in the U.S., including the vast Tesla Supercharger network. Charging an electric vehicle should be as easy as gassing up. Right now, it’s not. Juggling buggy apps, clunky payment systems and glitchy card readers is still common at many charging stations.

The 2025 Chevy Silverado EV Work Truck covered nearly 540 miles on a single charge in an independent range test. It eclipsed the previous record by the GMC Sierra EV Denali, which is mechanically similar to the Silverado EV. It gets a huge battery pack, but its efficiency isn't that impressive. The battle between the highest range electric vehicles in the U.S. has oscillated between extreme efficiency and brute battery power.

Nightmare due to traffic mismanagement during #nyc #Brooklyn half marathon. Was stuck for 3.5 hours just trying to get onto FDR from South Brooklyn. I only missed a hike with my friends, but imagine if this was a job interview, or an emergency. @bkexperience https://t.co/rKIxEkw7qe

A growing number of @GM customers are subscribing to its hands-free automated driving assistance system. Now there are early signs that focusing on consumer applications for autonomy rather than a robotaxi service might be paying off. Full story: https://t.co/7LIzD7J5bO https://t.co/nu9igW0ZvU
