Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed, has donated the sum N115m to the families of 23 people killed by bandits recently in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State. The beneficiaries of the monetary gesture are thirteen members of the Vigilante groups and ten civilians who were Fulani cattle herders whose cattle were rustled by the bandits during the attack.

Towards mitigating a fire disaster in Bauchi State, the Bauchi state government has said that it is committed to mitigating recurring fire disasters and creating awareness on fire disasters, mitigation, and response.
