As Election Day quickly approaches on Nov. 5, countless celebrities have publicly endorsed Donald Trump or Kamala Harris’s campaigns or simply urged their supporters to register to vote and hit the polls in November. It is almost impossible for anyone to ignore the relationship that pop culture and politics have, sparking a greater conversation about why these endorsements mean so much.

Whether you know from his days on Degrassi or are one of his 82 million monthly listeners on Spotify, there is no denying that Drake is one of the most popular artists out there. His impressive career speaks for itself and a couple of weeks ago, I had the honor and privilege of seeing him live on the second leg of the It Was All A Blur tour. For months, my 16-year-old brother wished for nothing more than for his first concert to be Drake.

After two years of fantasy football, I was recently converted to a full-blown football fan. So naturally, I was very excited to tune into this year’s Super Bowl, despite not being a major fan of either the Kansas City Chiefs or the San Francisco 49ers. But, I am a fan of George Kittle, tight end for the 49ers, since he has been on both of my fantasy teams and rarely lets me down. Super Bowl LVIII was truly one for the books and has been nonstop on my mind since Sunday night.

This season finale of Dancing With The Stars was unlike any other. For the first time, five couples competed for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy in the three-hour episode. This season has definitely been one of my favorites. Everyone, and I mean everyone, improved so much each week and I’ve loved every second of it. All five of the final couples bring something different to the ballroom, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

Last week, Frank Ocean shocked us with a one-minute preview of a new song on his Instagram story, and I have still not recovered. He has been my all-time favorite artist for a few years now, so you can only imagine how many times I’ve listened to the clip since. Since his headlining performance at Coachella this April, Ocean has been M.I.A. He has not put out new music since March 2020, with his two singles “Dear April”and “Cayendo.” His latest album, Blonde, was released in 2016.
